      A couple of weeks ago I picked up Oliver’s recent book ‘The Brewmaster’s Table’ and today I am here to inform you that I am glad that I did. This book has redirected my vision of beer and food. Oliver paints mouth watering portraits of beer at the dinner table. His writing style is pleasant and at times even humorous (Imagine! The Brewmaster's Table: Discovering the Pleasures of Real Beer with Real Food is pretty much the definitive book on pairing beer and food. It was written by Garrett Oliver, the brewmaster at Brooklyn Brewery (and one of the all around classiest brewers out there, I don’t think many other brewers ever wear suits). The book is aimed more at the general beer nerd audience than it is .

    This looks like a fun project. Photographer Nick Gingold is creating a portrait of California brewers, a coffee table book, that’s entitled California ’s photographed at least 45 California brewers and each profile will include an interview. The photo is part of California BrewMasters, a project by professional photographer Nick Gingold, who photographed and interviewed more than 45 of California’s best known brewers.
