A review is made of the experimental results obtained in low-p t particle production experiments at the CERN-ISR, in particular those obtained with the Split Field Magnet Detector. Selected low-p t results from the CERN and Fermilab bar {p}p colliders are also discussed.

We focus on the transmission of the initial transverse momenta of partons ("intrinsic k T") to the hadron-hadron correlations.

Values of the intrinsic transverse-momentum obtained from experimental correlations are compared to the results of a model with partially randomized parton transverse momenta at ISR and RHIC energies.
